De Job Swap is een project van de Stichting Henry Hudson 400 in samenwerking met BKB en wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door NY400. De wildcard actie wordt georganiseerd met Het Parool en AM New York.
JOB SWAP AMSTERDAM!
Yesterday all swappers arrived in Amsterdam. (All except teacher Michael, who will arrive in Octobre.) They are all very excited and seem ready for another week of new experiences.
In the afternoon all participants aboarded a canal boat for a roundtrip through the old city. Despite jetlags everybody enjoyed the views of the old merchanthouses and warehouses of Amsterdam. For some Americans this was their first trip outside the US!
After the boattrip the swappers were treated to some typically Dutch snacks ('ossenworst', 'leverworst' and cheese) and real Jenever at Klaas' bar Welling. And, Jimmy picked up some elementary Dutch.
