A long day!

This morning Ivo and I were in the field before the sun rose. Friday is harvest day and we wanted to beat the rain that was expected for mid-morning. We had a successful harvest of tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, lettuce, basil, dill, edamame and flowers.  We beat the rain for the most part until Cynthia came to take pictures for the Job Swap website. (Pictures to come soon.)

Ivo and I spent the rest of the morning working in the barns, and packing for our weekend in the city, and for me, my trip to Holland.  We shared a not so comfortable ride to New York City on the bus, but were rewarded by a beautiful hotel room courtesy of BKB.  We had a wonderful dinner of hotdogs, french fries and coke. (We have trouble growing that kind of food.)

It is now 2 o' clock on saturday morning and we just returned from a WONDERFUL concert put on by our fellow Job Swappers.  Two of the most talented women I have seen perform ( I went to music school and have seen a few). It was a joy to see. Thank you Leah and Renske. Please listen to their music, it is beautiful.
